1. Keep a vocabulary notebook as you work. Organise it by topic and add words and phrases to it as you go through the material. Test yourself regularly to see if you remember the words.
2. Find the time to practice English during your regular day. Perhaps you have a friend with whom you can practice speaking, or perhaps you can practice by yourself, just speaking English when you are alone at home or at work. This kind of practice is great for developing fluency in speaking, so that when you need to use English in the 'real' world you are ready and confident.
3. Use the Cambridge Dictionaries Online search box to look up words and phrases you want to learn more about. Be sure to read the dictionary entries carefully , as there is a lot of information there!
During this course you can also arrange Jet to come over to your company, house or some place near, to discuss the things you have learnt. If you think it is better for you to Skype with Jet, you can also make an appointment with her to do some oral exercises together!
